Choose 4 colours of paper you wish to use on your design, cut into 2.0cm strips, Fold over 5mm of one edge of the paper strips with coloured or patterned side on the outside. You can of course use just two colours and alternate them
Place the card over the design pattern sheet, with inside of card facing you and stick in place with a low tack tape, If you don't have any low tack tape you can buy some here
Take colour 1 and place the folded edge exactly up to the line of the section numbered 1, allow approximately 0.5cm of length over the design
cut out, stick in place at both ends with sticky tape
Place colour 2 over the section numbered 2, Place colour 3 over the section numbered 3, Place colour 4 over the section numbered 4
Now change back to colour 1 over the section numbered 5, Colour number 2 over section 6 etc…
Carry on this sequence until all the numbered sections are covered. There will be a rectangle section in the center of the shape, this is called the iris Fill this in with a colour / pattern of your choice
Carefully remove the tape that you have used to stick your card to the design sheet. Using double sided sticky tape, Stick the provided insert card over the work on the inside of the aperture card to cover the inside
Decorate the front of your card as you wish to enhance the beautiful iris work you have just created.
